I received my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Maryland in 1992 and started my career as an Interior Designer/Space Planner. When my eldest child was born, I began my journey as a stay-at-home mother. Having decreased our income by almost half, I needed to rely on my creativity and skills to create a beautiful and comfortable living environment on not much more than a dime. I soon became an expert yard saler – that, coupled with my knowledge of furniture history and painting/refinishing skills, I was able to fill our home with lovely, functional pieces that I hope to pass down to my children.
My sister Fran and I started “and Coco”, and sold our beautiful vintage and repurposed furniture, accessories, and one-of-a-kind jewelry in several venues over the past 10 years. We recently decided to retire from the retail end and focus on custom work.
Me & My Dad
He passed down his creative gene to me and was always supportive of my art. Even though he is no longer on this earth, he is always with me, xoxo.
